Rear drive shaft containment loop: Scribner Welding has the best
Scribner Welding is a high quality, small fabrication and machine shop. It began only because of customer demand, and the love for cars.
I began building my own car parts in the 1960’s while working in various positions. Draftsman, machinist, and equipment field mechanic. All of which have contributed to the expertise of the craftmanship we create.
Most of my education was in diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical, however, my first love has always been street rods and drag cars. I was always building an engine or suspension parts for someone in the evenings. It was quite a “hobby”.
In the 1970’s, I built tooling to narrow 12 bolts, and 9 inch Ford rearends. In the mid 1980’s, I took a rearend that I had narrowed for my own use, to a swap meet. I was only looking to sell it. To my surprise, there were people all day long, asking questions. Most of them had never seen a TIG welded rearend. There was such extreme interest, and demand, that in January 1990, Scribner Welding was officially a business, specializing in Narrowed Rearends.
Acquiring the distributorship for Aurora Rod Ends in January 1997, we became Scribner Welding and Distributing.
I have more than thirty years experience in TIG welding, and have completed 1300+ narrowed rearends. The specialty continues to be with rearends. Our sheet metal housings have been referred to as ”works of art”. Due to customer demand, we have also ventured into custom aluminum fabrication, suspension components, and driveshafts. We also deal heavily with axles and all parts pertaining to building rearends, and suspension components.
Scribner Welding is proud to be “the place to go” for fabricated parts and components for your special project. We thrive for customer satisfaction.
